On Tuesday 11 January our school reverberated to the sounds of tramping feet and interested chatter, as we opened our doors to prospective pupils and their parents. As has been the pattern of recent years, Dr. Haugh spoke to two full sittings in the Chancellor Guy Hall, before inviting our guests to make their way around the school.

Year 12 pupils were on hand to act as guides and every department had work on display

and pupils available to answer questions.

At the end of the evening it was great to hear the positive comments of people who had been here for the first time. Everyone was impressed – both by the pupils and the school environment. Judging by reactions and talk on the night, it looks as if we can expect another high intake in September....
