Teams in Dunluce
It’s been another busy year in the PE &
Sports Studies Department. More pupils than ever have had the opportunity to
represent Dunluce in competition, with some notable successes....
Intermediate
Netball Team.
The team won the North Coast Schools
League, 2010-11.
Under-15
Football Team
The Year 11 Football Team won their section
of the Coleraine & District Football League U15 Section B. They played 5
games, winning 4 and losing 1.
They played Magherafelt High School in the
Section Final (whom they had beaten 5-1 earlier in the campaign) and lost 4-2
at the Riada Stadium.
This was a very enjoyable season for the
Year 11 boys, who participated with enthusiasm and determination throughout!

10 (Under-14) Football Team
Undefeated throughout the season, leading
to a 4-1 victory over Magherafelt High in the Final. Some very talented
individual players but the key to their success was teamwork, shown by the way
they recovered from conceding an early goal in the Final.
Next year the team will compete in the ‘A’
Section and have the ability to do very well.

These boys participated in a 3-school
tournament that was hosted by Coleraine RFC over the course of 3 different
mornings. They played 6 games in total, winning all 6, scoring 21 tries and
conceding only 2.
Adam Harte was the leading scorer with 8
tries, as Dunluce won the inaugural Coleraine RFC Under-12 Shield.
