Charity Latest

Here at Dunluce School we take a huge amount of pride in the work we do for charity every year.  We have long standing relationships with a number of charities including the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, RNLI, the Northern Ireland Children's Cancer Unit  and Children in Need.

At today's assembly two cheques were presented.

In May some of our staff participated in the annual Portrush Raft Race.  As usual they didn't win; but they got very wet, got very tired and raised the grand sum of £316.62 for the RNLI.  Mr Mitchell, our very own Dunluce member of the RNLI presented the cheque.

As if that wasn't enough...

Conor McCandless, in year 12, raised a phenomenal £720.94 for Macmillan Cancer Support.  This was an outstanding amount to raise and we want to congratulate Conor for the effort he went to in order to support this worthy cause.

There are plenty of further opportunities to get involved with the Dunluce charity work.  Keep and eye out and help us make a difference.
