Dunluce 2014 Christmas card

This year's official 2014 Christmas card was designed by year 8 pupil, Leah Millar.

Leah's design was selected from a short list and was praised by Mrs Johnston for it's "creative use of colour"

It was officially unveiled on Tuesday, coincidentally on the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky's birthday.  Kandinsky is credited with being the first painter to produce purely abstract work, and used colour as an expression of emotion, often likening the process of painting to composing music.

Leah can take pride in her design and, if she can compose music as well as she uses colour then Mr Lutton will be happy as well.
