Graphic products department

“Graphic Products is a very interesting and enjoyable subject. I am very happy that I chose Graphic Products as it’s very different to my other subjects. Not every day is the same because one day we could be drawing, then writing or designing something on the computer. I would recommend Graphic Products as a GCSE subject if you are interested in designing.” Mark Crooks
“Graphic Products is a great subject because it is so unique. It is the only subject that is totally based around you – your ideas, your designs, your graphic products. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who perhaps is thinking of architecture and doesn’t know what subjects to pick.
Overall I would highly recommend graphic products to anyone, but especially those who are thinking of any job that involves design.” Simon Friel

“I opted for Graphic Products as I have always had an interest in design and felt that the subject was made for me. I have really enjoyed the first year of this course and so far it has been challenging a rewarding. We have been drawing plans for our chosen building and also researching and getting information that could improve our ideas. Our work doesn’t stop over the summer months, when we have to make a model of our chosen building. This is very exciting and also scary as it is now up to us to put our brains to the test using the information we have been told. It’s a great choice of subject as you can use your own ideas and work at your own pace, using your creativity to the best of you ability. So if you pay attention to detail and are interested in design then this is the subject for you.
Graphic Products is an opportunity to think of a building and see it through to a finished model version, encountering problems and meeting requirements along the way – a real challenge.” Caroline Getty
