LMC Cookery Demonstrations

The Livestock and Meat Commission for NI currently offer cookery demonstrations to schools and these are booked each year for Year 10 pupils who are interested in studying GCSE Hospitality and Year 11 pupils who are studying GCSE Hospitality.

Mrs Bristow demonstrated several dishes using different cuts of meat and discussed various issues such as the nutritional benefits of meat for all ages, meat safety and hygiene and the Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assurance Scheme.
