GCSE PE
This is the third year the GCE PE course has been running. Many pupils have opted for this course and the wide range of activities has proved successful, ranging from Modern Dance to Golf, Trampolining, Hockey, Rugby, Athletics, Basketball, and boys’ and girls’ football.
The practical lessons are most popular and the pupils enjoy the responsibility of helping to organize events like Sports Day and tournaments. With the added experience of refereeing and umpiring games, the pupils have developed their coaching and leadership skills, which will be so beneficial in the workplace.
Quite a few former pupils have gone on to develop their skills at Further Educational Colleges, and hope to maintain their strong interest in a life of sport, originated in Dunluce School.
