Positive Behaviour Certificates

Today, in assembly, we rolled out the next part of the school's positive behaviour reward scheme.  This is a scheme that looks to acknowledge the good work that is happening in our classes and develop a culture of rewarding positive learning behaviour.  It has been up and running for some time now and this was an opportunity to take it to the next stage.

In junior assembly certificates were handed out to each class showing their strengths and areas for improvement.  Form teachers can now work with their form class to encourage them to keep up the good work.

If you would like more information you can download the Positive Behaviour Policy here, or in our information section

This assembly was also an opportunity for the Btec Performing Arts group to showcase their talent.  A group from the course performed a short dramatic production that was devised, directed and performed by the pupils themselves.  It was a modern take on some familar fairytales, set in a very familar setting.  Those who are interested in knowing more can see it performed again at our open evening (Tues 13th Jan) where it will be performed to prospective pupils and their parents.
