Sports Day
Friday June 12 was a day we all enjoyed here at Dunluce. Not only did our sporting stars get the chance to shine in track and field events, but all the spectators were kept entertained and busy. Our DJ Mr. Pollock and announcer Mr. Mitchell made sure that everyone was involved! Louise McKeown was an inspiration in leading the Mexican wave. At the end everyone ended up on the track for one final lap....
Well done to Mrs. McClintock and Mr. Parker of the PE Department for organizing such a memorable day. Even the weather was kind to us.
As for the sporting side of things, many individuals stood out....
The House Championship was won by Causeway, with the award collected by Hannah Kane and Gerald Kane. Others who made an impact in the athletic awards were Joshua Elliott, Megan Vance, Peter Linton, Chloe Freeman, Iain McCulloch and Amy Glass.
Athletics is, of course, just one aspect of the sporting calendar here in Dunluce. It’s been a busy year as usual. Catch up on the team photos and reports in the latest edition of our school magazine.
