The Queen visits Bushmills

A group of Dunluce students were fortunate enough to attend the unveiling of the Robert Quigg VC statue in the presence of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth 2nd. It was a tremendous occasion and the pupils greatly enjoyed seeing the Royal visitors as well as glimpsing the pageantry and colour of the Irish Guards band.

The Robert Quigg VC video was also shown on the big screen and many visitors were able to watch our pupils contribution to the film project.

The rest of the school then got the chance to wave off the Royal Range Rover as the Queen and Prince Philip drove past the school on route to Portrush.
