Year 12 GCSE Hospitality Function: A Taste of Italy in Dunluce


The Year 12 GCSE Hospitality class worked as a team to produce and serve an Italian themed meal to a group of 10 people which included staff and members of the Board of Governors.  Each pupil had a specific role, either in the kitchen or front of house in the restaurant.  The restaurant team were responsible for producing invitations, menus, comment cards and place cards as well as setting up and decorating a classroom as an Italian Restaurant.  The kitchen team were responsible for preparing and cooking the food and presenting it ready for service.  All who attended enjoyed the experience and praised the pupils for the high standard of food and the efficient and professional service.
