Year 11 BTEC Business pupils took part in the Young Enterprise Company Programme.  They set up a company called Santa’s Helpers which sold stocking fillers for the male and female market.  They were mentored by Mr Nick Patton, Centra  Bushmills who shared his expertise and experience in the retail trade.  This experience required good team work, the ability to share ideas and to problem solve effectively.  The pupils enjoyed the opportunity to sell their products in The Tower Centre in December where they engaged in selling directly to the general public.  This was a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to be involved in running their own business, to see the advantages and disadvantages first-hand and to reap the rewards of hard work and diligence.
